No, you can have the system configured to automatically create CDs after a study is received by the system. In this mode, the system works similar to a printer - simply push a study to the burner from your PACS and pick up the burned and labeled CD from the publisher.
The system automatically splits studies to fit on separate CD capacities, including the "n of m" label to indicate the number of CDs for the patient. The system can also be configured to support DVD and Blu-ray so if the studies don't fit on a CD, they will automatically be placed onto a DVD or Blu-ray.
Yes, there are several ways the system pulls patient reports and works with native DICOM SR (Structure Reports), McKesson interface, Philips iSite, GE report server, Sectra, http and web service queries.
No, the peer-to-peer (P2P) transfer service encrypts all patient data and sends to the destination without storing or mining patient data. This is the only truly secure method of patient data transfer.
As long as you are able to access a secure site on the Internet (example: https://www.google.com/), you can easily use the P2P transfer service to securely send and receive patient images, reports and other files.
Yes, the system supports creating DICOM data from the proprietary format which can be sent directly to your PACS.
The system includes an easy to use viewer, to be included on the CD. Any viewer that can read a DICOMDIR is supported. Proprietary viewers such as the McKesson, Philips, and GE are supported.
Yes, query your PACS or work list server, select a patient and the demographic data is copied to the study being imported.
Yes, Digital Tomosynthesis studies can be imported. The built-in QC viewer supports that storage SOP class.
Yes, editing patient demographics or deleting items from a patient study is simple.  Also, rules can be configured to allow automatic editing on imports, DICOM network receives and P2P Transfers receives.
Yes, the application provides an automatic lock feature which requires a user to log in with their domain or local credentials. Configuration can selectively allow specific users or groups and a idle time value to automaticlly lock access.
