Intuitive User Interface
PACS Express is proof an intuitive user interface does in fact exist. Every common use is available with the single click of a button. No need to navigate through frustrating menus to find the feature you are looking for. PACS Express, along with every version of DICOM software from PACS Exchange, allows you to get your work done easily and effectively.
Secure, Non-Cloud Peer-to-Peer Transfer
Peer-to-Peer transferring capabilities (commonly called P2P) is a simple, instant and secure way to directly transfer patient data from one institution to another. There's no need to go through a virtual private network. VPN access is not the most secure method for data transfer. With P2P there isn't a need to create and send a CD. Transferred data is identical to the original data and received patient data can be automatically sent to your PACS for distribution and immediate viewing.
To send patient data, simply select a patient that was imported or sent from your pacs, select a destination and click the [P2P Send] button. Progress is shown as the study is transfered and the receiving peer can view images as they are received.
HIPAA Activity Log
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations require your medical applications to monitor and report access to sensitive patient information. All actions through PACS Exchange software are automatically documented in the HIPAA activity log. Entries include the action, the patient study, when the action occurred and which user performed the action.
