Intuitive User Interface
PACS Express is proof an intuitive user interface does in fact exist. Every common use is available with the single click of a button. No need to navigate through frustrating menus to find the feature you are looking for. PACS Express, along with every version of DICOM software from PACS Exchange, allows you to get your work done easily and effectively.
De-identify and anonymize health care data
Anonymizing patient data will remove or obscure personal identifying information to protect patient privacy while still allowing for the data to be used for research or other purposes. This includes removing names, addresses, and other direct identifiers, obscuring, or removing information that could be used to indirectly identify a patient, such as date of birth or specific medical conditions. This process is important for maintaining the trust of patients and ensuring that their personal information is not misused.
Information used to link images in a study is maintained allowing proper study review. Using this feature is as simple as selecting a study from the study list and clicking the Anonymize button.
HIPAA Activity Log
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations require your medical applications to monitor and report access to sensitive patient information. All actions through PACS Exchange software are automatically documented in the HIPAA activity log. Entries include the action, the patient study, when the action occurred and which user performed the action.
